Samuel is an Australian-qualified lawyer practising in Rajah & Tann LCT Lawyers’ Banking and Finance practice group.

Samuel is an international associate at Rajah & Tann LCT Lawyers. He obtained his Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne. Sam has previously practised in several regarded law firms in Australia and brings with him experience in advising on corporate law and financial transactions.

Logan is a part of Rajah & Tann LCT Lawyers’ Dispute Resolution and Corporate and M&A practice groups.

Logan obtained his Bachelor of Laws from the University of Adelaide in Australia. Having worked in major law firms across the region, including over 3 years with a Vietnamese law firm, Logan is familiar with the regulatory environment of emerging Southeast Asia.

He specialises in international arbitration and his experience has seen him be involved in commercial disputes adjudicated under the rules of the ICC, SIAC, HKIAC, JCAA, VIAC and the Swiss Chambers’ Arbitration Institution. Together with Quang, he spearheads Rajah & Tann LCT Lawyers’ International Arbitration sub-practice, with a particular focus on construction and infrastructure disputes. Logan has assisted clients in disputes spanning a broad range of areas – from admiralty to international trade.

As also a part of the firm’s Corporate and M&A, Logan has been involved in general commercial advisory for numerous disciplines. His experience has seen him assist in advising on multiple cross-border transactions, including M&As for Fortune 500 companies.


  • Vietnamese quasi-governmental state agency as Respondent in two ICC arbitrations brought by a Japanese construction company in relation to the construction of a US$500+ million highway and cross-river tunnel. Ho Chi Minh City seat.
  • Vietnamese steel trader as Claimant in a Swiss arbitration brought against a Russian steel trader in relation to the sale and purchase of US$7.5 million worth of hot-rolled steel coils. Geneva seat.
  • Vietnamese oil and gas company as Respondent in a VIAC arbitration brought by a Marshall Islands shipping company in relation to the sale and purchase of a US$6.5 million FPSO vessel. Hanoi seat.
  • Korean paper manufacturer as Respondent in a JCAA arbitration brought by a Japanese equipment supplier in relation to sale and purchase of JPY 355 million paper-manufacturing equipment. Tokyo seat.
  • Vietnamese company as Respondent in an ICC arbitration brought by a Serbian rubber product manufacturer in relation to the sale and purchase of coconut-activated carbon. Paris seat.
  • Japanese trading company as Claimant in a VIAC arbitration brought against a Vietnamese oil company in relation to the sale and purchase of marine fuel oil. Ho Chi Minh City seat.

Quach Vu An Khoa has been an Associate at Rajah & Tann LCT Lawyers since 2013. Le Quynh Nhi is a paralegal in Rajah & Tann LCT Lawyers’ Corporate and M&A practice group. Nhi obtained her Bachelor of Laws (Advanced Program) from the Ho Chi Minh City University of Law.

Nhi has assisted in spearheading multiple licensing projects for institutional clients across a broad range of industries, including manufacturing, construction, real estate, hospitality and logistics. She maintains an impressive track-record in successful market entries and expansions, even in traditionally challenging industries. Nhi also plays a critical role in all key stages of M&A transactions.

Nhi has also developed a niche expertise in labour law, and has assisted in advising clients on employment and benefits matters by navigating through Vietnam’s complex labour laws. She is experienced in advising on and facilitating the obtainment of employment permits and approvals required for foreign employees and contractors doing business in Vietnam.
